AUG.2009. MADDIE CAME TO ME FOR IN HOUSE BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION FOR SEVERE DOG AGGRESSION AND HUMAN AGGRESSION. SHE REQUIRED A MUZZLE TO BE AROUND OTHER ANIMALS AND HUMANS. SHE WENT THROUGH A GLASS WINDOW AFTER AN OUTSIDE DOG AND BIT HER HANDLER ON THE ARM WHEN SHE WAS AGGRESSING TOWARD A HUMAN. SHE HAD NO EXPRESSION ON HER FACE. HER OWNERS LOVE HER DEARLY AND ALLOWED AN INSECURE TO BE IN CHARGE OF THEIR HOME AND OUTSIDE THE HOME. TODAY MADDIE LIVES IN MY HOME WITH MY DOGS WHERE SHE SHARES HER FOOD, BONES, SPACE AND AFFECTION. SHE MOVES AROUND OUTSIDE WITH MY GOATS, CAT AND DOGS. SHE IS PICTURED WITH SASHA ANOTHER INHOUSE DOG WHO ALONG WITH MADDIE WAS MUZZLED AROUND OTHER DOGS. TODAY BOTH MADDIE AND SASHA ARE BALANCED. PHOTO'S OF MADDIE AND MY PACK. AGILITY HELPED BUILD HER TRUST AND CONFIDENCE.
MADDIE AND SASHA HAD TO BE MUZZLED TO BE TOGETHER. NOT ANY MORE. SASHA'S IN THE BACK ROUND.

JULY 30,2009 CURRENTLY I HAVE TWO GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS IN HOUSE FOR AGGRESSION ISSUES. THEY ARE AGGRESSIVE TOWARD OTHER ANIMALS AND HUMANS. BOTH ARE DOING VERY WELL SOCIALIZING WITH MY DOGS, GOATS AND HUMANS. I HAVE YOUNG PUPPIES (4-5 MONTHS OF AGE) COMING IN FOR FOOD AGGRESSION. IM NOT SURE WHAT'S GOING ON, BUT I WOULD ESTIMATE 95% OF MY CURRENT TRAINING IS FOR BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. PEOPLE SOMETIMES GASP AT THE PRICES OF MY PUPPIES. THEY'RE NOT THE DOGS COMING IN FOR BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. MANY ARE GERMAN SHEPHERD AMERICAN, GERMAN SPORT BRED DOGS AND THE LOTTERY DOG (CROSSING LINES FROM WORKING DOGS, SPORT DOGS AND AMERICAN DOGS). MANY DESIGNER DOGS ARE ALSO COMING IN FOR BEHAVIOR ISSUES. THERE ARE SOME GOOD PUPPIES COMING OUT OF THESE BREEDING, WHICH IS WHY I CALL THEM LOTTERY DOGS. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET. April, 2009 Steve and Sophie. She was very dog aggressive and high prey drive.
Sophie on the swinging bridge. She will continue onto her Obedience training.
MAUREEN AND STEPH OWN KODI AND SASHA. BROTHER/SISTER 4 YEAR OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD'S HAVE HAD TRAINING BUT NO ONE TOOK THE TIME TO FIX THEIR INSECURITIES. BOTH DOG'S WERE AGGRESSIVE TOWARD PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS. KODI FED OFF SHASH AND WOULD NOT LEAVE HIS OWNERS OR SASHA. HE WOULD OFTEN DEMONSTRATE UNCONTROLLED AGGRESSION TOWARD PEOPLE AND DOGS. BOTH DOGS ARE DOING VERY GOOD AND THE OWNERS SAY THEY'RE DIFFERENT DOGS. MY BALANCED PACK OF DOGS ARE OFTEN USED TO CONTROL DOG AGGRESSION. ALL OF MY DOG (MALE AND FEMALE) ARE PROTECTION TRAINED AND STILL DEMONSTRATE TOTAL PACK CONTROL. KILO KISSES DOG AGGRESSIVE KODI AND SASHA WATCHES

MY DOGS AND KATRIE AND SEYMOUR. SEYMOUR WAS EXTREMELY SHY TOWARD OTHER DOGS AND PEOPLE. USING AGGRESSION TO MASK HIS INSECURITY.
TERRY, WALTER AND DAKOTA. DAKOTA COMPLETED SIX WEEKS OF BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION AND AN ADDITIONAL SIX WEEKS OF OBEDIENCE TRAINING. JOB WELL DONE BY ALL. OWNERS ARE NOW IN CONTROL OF THIS BEAUTIFUL DOG.
REMEMBER RICKEY? JULY 2007 Dear Bob, We’re writing today to let you know what a great job you did with our dog Rickye. When we rescued Rickye and took him home he was the perfect dog for us and easily stole our hearts. What we didn’t realize until family came to visit was that Rickye seemed to love us but wanted to bite everyone else. He barked, tried to bite people and other dogs and was all but uncontrollable when guests were in the house. Plus, even though he loves to ride in the car, when the car was stopped, parked or when we went through a drive through Rickye would just start barking and try to attack people. Thank God we found you and Hudson Valley K9 Academy. Even though Rickye wouldn’t let you handle him at first your kindness and understanding immediately made a difference. You taught us how to give him the guidance and corrections (with no stress or pain) he needed to learn how to accept our family and friends. At first they were reluctant but as time went by and Rickye learned his obedience training he’s become accepting and has actually stopped trying to bite people. This is especially great with our parents who Rickye had bitten several times. Now when they come over Rickye is very mellow and actually allows them to give him treats etc. When we have him in public he’s great at staying close and doesn’t try to attack others, even at the drive through. Bob, the results with Rickye were remarkable to say the least. When you started Rickye on agility training it was apparent that he wanted no part of it. Your encouraging, non violent methods helped train Rickye and us to help Rickye learn to do all the agility. After the first lesson it seemed that Rickye actually enjoy it doing the agility. I’ve enclosed the video we took during Rickye’s confidence agility training with you as an example of how great he’s done under your training. We all realize that much of the training was teaching us how to help Rickye and that’s probably the best part of all. We can now help him with his fear aggression using the techniques you taught us and we can do it without hurting him in any way. Before Hudson Valley K9 Academy, Rickye was a challenge and a handful every time he was around strangers. Now he’s like a different dog and even though we always loved him, we now love that he’s so much more a member of our family and he’s literally getting better every week. Congratulations on your suburb work and what you’ve done for us. That TV dog whisperer has nothing on you Bob. Our results were extraordinary and so is your Academy and your obvious love for the dogs you work with. Thanks so much for helping us and our wonderful dog Rickye. The great results from your training are benefiting us every single day. Most sincerely, Randye & Vinnie & Rickye |
